Playing the guitar is a great way to pass the time and practice your creative juices. It get's even more fun when you move beyond the stage of learning to play the chords, to learning to play actual songs. If you are a beginner, it may be easier than you think to move to the stage of learning any song you want. It's as easy as 7 easy steps and 3 or so tools on your computer to learn any song. This record outlines a great formula to use right away!

Step 1- Before you even Begin to attempt figuring out a song from scratch, your guitar must be in tune! Actually, it must well be in tune, and not just in tune with itself. No qoute if you don't have a tuner, just Google "online guitar tuners" and tune it there. Otherwise, tune with your electronic tuner. Enchanting on...

Step 2- Open iTunes, or the place where you can listen to the song on your computer. Start the song and listen to the first few seconds.

Step 3- Open a guitar tablature website and look up the song you want to learn. Just Google "free guitar tabs" and choose a site.

Step 4- Now take a moment and learn all the chords for the starting of the song. Do you know how to play each chord or is it a chord you don't know? No? No problem...just Google "guitar chord finder", or "guitar chord builder" and choose a website. Enter the chord name that is on the tablature and there you go!

Step 5- Feasibility check...Did this man do a good job of manufacture the song tablature? Many tabs are wholly wrong, but most of them are pretty spot on, just choose someone else version of the tab if it seems wrong.

Step 6- Learn the rest of the song in increments, all the time starting from the starting and adding more and more of the song as you go. As you get better, you can simply listen to the song, open up the tab site and play along with the tab by "site reading" it.

Step 7- Memorization process...Now try and memorize the song and play along with it instead of having the crutch of the guitar tab.

There you have a fool proof formula for learning any song you want anytime. You can obviously check out YouTube versions of how habitancy play songs as well. For some songs YouTube will work, others...no way. So now you see that learning guitar can come to be so easy when you make the computer your free teacher!
