This is a versatile, feature-packed digital chromatic tuner, perfect for a wide range of instruments including guitar, mandolin, banjo, electric bass, violin and other stringed instruments. It will also work great on wind instruments too! This is a clip-on tuner that can pick up sounds either through vibrations picked up through the clip, OR through a built-in microphone. Using the clip option allows you to tune your instrument even in noisy situations, since it is picking up the sound vibration directly from your instrument.This tuner has a swiveling screen with a nice back-lit LCD display which turns from red to green as you near a correct pitch. The back-lit feature means that this tuner can be used just fine in low-light situations.There are cheaper digital tuners out there, but if you look closely you'll see that most do not have the feature set that this tuner has.
